Talk show with ibu Becky
On Friday, 25 November 2011, Ibu Becky came to be our guest speaker. She told us about many things related to our PYP Exhibition. She told us about her experience in her entertainment world. From teen to adult. She also told us about tips to be more confident when talking in front of a huge crowd of people. On the beginning, she told us about different types of media. There were primary media and secondary media. After her talk show was finished, we took pictures together with her. This will be an unforgettable memory for all the year 6 students. Talk show with Kak Farid
On Wednesday, 16 November 2011, Kak Farid came to our school especially for us to be a guest speaker. He was a reporter from the famous TV Station, Trans 7. He gave us a brief and clear information about what media is. After that, he told us about who works in the media. The next thing that we do was to play a role as a news agency with our media group. He prepared a topic for each group. Our group got the topic about computer games. Clarissa play as a source of information and journalist, Vienna play as a camera women, Frances play as an editor, and Kristie play as a reporter. After it was finished, we took a picture together. The information that Kak Farid told us will be very useful for our PYP Exhibition and we believe that this will be an unforgettable moment. THANK YOU KAK FARID :)
Visiting C'ns
On Thursday, 1st December 2011, the magazine group from year 6S and 6M were visiting C'n'S. Kak Wili told us many things about magazines. Who works in the magazine and their jobs, what were the process to make a magazine,and many more in a form of a power point slideshow. Then, he asked us questions regarding to the power point and if we're correct, we can get free coupons and after he's finished, he gave us time to ask him any questions. After that, he welcome us to come inside the library to look around. There we got loads of new information. Next, we we're introduced to the editor-in-chief, director, managing editor, senior editor, and the other editors. They told us about their job and work and what do they do everyday. In the end we're gathered together to take a picture. When we got back from there, we just feel so thankful to be there. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
